After making a daily call on Sunday the time on my TiVo is an hour behind the actual time.
I have tried another call today but to no avail.
Can anyone suggest a fix, please?
Timezone/daylight savings problem perhaps?
I’m running the NZ Thomson 2.5.5 software (which has been working well up until now).

Most people I have talked to either don’t know what TiVo is, or if they do, would not consider spending $900 on it.

I’ve been sent my Father’s old S1 TiVo from the UK, despite saying I didn’t want it and already have a S3 HD Tivo NZ.
Since the UK TiVo can be converted to run in NZ it would be of use to anyone wanting to go the SD Hobby route.
I’ll probably put it up for sale on Trademe unless I find someone else who wants it; but my question is, anyone have any idea how much I should ask for it? It is still in original box, with all cables and manuals and was working fine when it left the UK.
I know I could get the image and install and convert myself, but frankly I dont have the time or the motivation.

Hi all, I am not a super techo but need some help diagnosing what i going on. When I’m connected to the net full time the Tivo will freeze (screen freeze and no remote control response) which requires a reboot, date reset etc. If I do manage a successful call I have to remove the network cable or the Tivo will freeze after some time. Perhaps there are some log entries I should be looking at but they don’t mean much to me. I’m at risk of missing a recording of Desperate Housewives and that could spell disaster …… :rolleyes:
I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Has anyone else noticed a bug where when you press FF for the third time (to go full speed), it jumps to the end of the recording? It has happened a few times, and mostly seems to happen while the show being watched is still recording.
We have never seen this behaviour on the Series1 in 5 years.

TV1 defaults to One News at 6pm from 6pm on Thursday 11/3/10. I’ve just placed another call (successful) but it’s still the same. Says it has data to Tuesday 16th march. (I’m not that keen on Simon Dallow and Wendy Petrie!)
Also I can’t find Dragon’s Den to book a season pass. Although this may correct itself, I guess, if there was data for next Friday with it included.
Could someone look at this please?
