Hey Guys,
I have an old philips tivo that I no longer use (I have a HD tivo now). Is there any demand for these older units anymore? Is anyone here interested in it if I listed it on trademe? Happy to set $1 reserve and sell it for that if thats all it goes for
Might be useful for a spare room or something.

I have my Tivo connected to both the HDMI input and the AV input. Usually, I would use HDMI as the quality is better.
However, on occasion I notice that one of two things can happen -
1) The TV can completely fail to find an HDMI signal. I need to switch off the TV and switch it on again for it to work.
2) The picture is visible, but it takes about 5s for the sound to start working.
In all cases, the AV input works fine without delay.
I’m wondering if this can be down to a weak HDMI signal, or the TV finding it harder than normal to identify the signal as 1040i (I have the Tivo set to Fixed output)? ANyone else experiencing this?

My Tivo seems to have done daylight saving correction ok, but the guide data times appear to be all over the place! Any ideas? Tried a daily call, but no effect.

Daylight saving continues to be my big issue on both my Thompson and Philips TiVo’s. I have run through all the suggested fixes I believe (Aucland.zip, postcodes, etc) but end up with both of them showing the correct time but the guide being an hour out. Both are set to 02113 postcode, DaylightSavingsPolicy=0, Timezone=0
Question is – should I now be on Daylight savings to get the guide time correct?
