Lack of TV 1 Guide Data
TV 1 guide data runs out on Monday. I have done a phonecall without any improvement. It is the same on two machines both on 2112.
Anyone else noticed this?

hi all,
I had to buy mysky (so could record stuff while watching cricket) and so am selling my old series one TiVo. Works a treat with SKY.
It has a massive (>10m) ethernet cable connected at the back so the tivo can be put almost anywhere. if you have any queries please let me know. selling for $200 o.n.o. – first come first served ![]()

Hi,
Can anyone advise which Freeview boxes on sale in NZ have IR codes available?
The wiki links to a UK TivoPortal site, with boxes that are alien to here.
I understand the postcode will be 02112, now wanting to save myself from having to capture the IR codes manually.

Hi All,
1st off i am new to the forums, and the tivo has been happily downloading using your excellent oztivo service. My postcode is ‘waikanae’ but or the last few days or so, the tivo has been connecting and then completing but the channels are no longer downloading.
TV2 has nothing on it at all.
TV1 ONLY says ONE News at 6pm on every page it has (1 page only)
Maori has nothing in it at all.
TV3 has programs on a single page (until 12:30 tonight)
TAB has programs on 1/2 a page (until 11:30 tomorrow am)
Prime has programs on 1.5 pages (until 11:30pm tomorrow)
Any idea whats going on please, or what i need to do to try to get the download again?

The C4 channel is now renamed 4, but is still on the same slot (12). Would the renaming of the channel have anything to do with the loss of the EPG data ? I’ve had a quick look at the Tivo preferences ( Channels You Receive), C4 is still listed.

Hi there,
Last year brought a Philips Series 1 from Trademe and have left the machine sat on a desk for 6 months.
Finally got around today to plugging it in and getting her going. Eventually Tivo starts and boots in to the menus – but I can’t run guided set up.
I know I need to telnet the Tivo, but I can’t seem to see it on the network.
Anyone got any ideas?
It’s running a Turbocard which is plugged in. I’m getting a green light on the router saying there is something there, but nothing comes up when I scan the network.
Could this Tivo be running a static IP?
Is there an easy way to find it?

I have had my TiVo 320 since December 2010 and it is now giving me problems which I believe come from the same root cause. Anyone know of a solution for these?
No record or viewing live TV. Latter gives grey screen. May occasionally receive intermittently. Signal verified as a Zinwell set top box works perfectly and shows good signal strength when connected to the same antenna connection.
Playback is broken. Previously recorded programs in the Now Playing list will typically play for 1/2 to 1 second, pause 2 to 3 seconds, cycling indefinitely. Picture remains clean with no pixellation.
This same play / pause cycling is also seen on the dynamic wallpapers of the menus that have them.
Navigation through menus is VERY slow. Moving up and down on the same page is OK, but scrolling or moving left or right into different menus takes 2 to 3 minutes to complete. Also, if I try to scroll beyond the top or bottom, the normal ‘boong’ navigation sound does not play, and all navigation sounds stop completely for 2 to 3 minutes, after which all navigation sounds work again until the next menu change.
When opening "Pick Recordings to Transfer" in Tivo Desktop, it shows a message "There was an error while attempting to retrieve data from the selected DVR" though a count of the total number of recordings does appear.
Resetting clears all symptoms, but only for 15 minutes or so, at which time all the symptoms reappear.
I suspect high loading on an embedded processor, but will listen to all suggestions.
I don’t have much faith in getting a meaningful response from HTS before going overseas in a few days time, I will probably have to blow the dust off my old analogue TV HDD recorder if I can’t sort the TiVo out by then
